Use case
A memo PDF that stays out of its own way
A memo is a one-pager. The Memo template strips the cover page and the ToC, gets you straight into the To / From / Date / Re header, and keeps the body dense.

The shape of a memo that gets read
- Context — one paragraph. What changed, what prompted this memo.
- Proposal — the thing you want them to agree to. Specific.
- Why — three sentences max. Anchor in numbers or precedent.
- Ask — what you need from them, by when. Make it easy to say yes.
Why no cover page
A memo lives or dies on the first paragraph. A cover page pushes that paragraph to page two and signals "document" instead of "memo." The Memo template defaults to no cover and no ToC for that reason. Page numbers stay on so the reader knows whether they are missing a page.
